Strategic Meeting on Vocational Training Initiatives
Mera Ghar – NET, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department, held a focused strategic meeting to advance upcoming vocational training initiatives at Community Centres across Peshawar. Building on earlier discussions held in June 2026, the meeting reviewed the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) process developed by Mera Ghar – NET and examined the completed assessments to identify priority areas raised by vocational training teachers and participants. The findings highlighted a strong demand for practical vocational skills, digital competencies, and income-generating opportunities.
The assessment provides a clear foundation for designing targeted, demand-driven training that responds to real community needs and strengthens pathways toward economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods. Through coordinated action and needs-based skills development, Mera Ghar – NET and the Social Welfare Department are working to transform identified training needs into practical opportunities, stronger livelihoods, and greater economic independence for communities across Peshawar.
