The Hope portfolio is primarily concerned with capacity building and the empowerment of young people on human rights issues, international instruments and treaties signed by the international community, based on the principles of fundamental human rights, equality and justice.

The central research and development arm of the Trust, Pohantoon , develops and designs the NET programme portfolios, conducts action research on the specific needs of women and child survivors of violence and young people within our socio-cultural context, and, on that basis, develops rehabilitation and other developmental programmes. Pohantoon is also responsible for organisational development, fundraising, and exploring the sustainability and further expansion of the Trust's programmes and the institution.
