Mera Ghar – NET was honored to host a high-level delegation from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Pakistan and the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) for a comprehensive review visit aimed at advancing protection, justice, and holistic care for survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

Building on a strong collaborative partnership with SRSP, the delegation conducted a thorough review of ongoing legal cases and evaluated the end-to-end survivor case-management framework. The joint discussions focused on optimizing referral pathways, accelerating legal interventions, and ensuring that case handling across institutions remains timely, seamless, and strictly survivor-centered.

During the visit, the delegation toured the facility to observe Mera Ghar – NET’s integrated operational model firsthand. The showcase highlighted the organization’s multi-sectoral support services, including:

• Safe & Secure Shelter: Immediate, protected accommodation for women and children in distress.

• Psychosocial Counselling: Dedicated mental health support and trauma-informed care.

• Legal Aid & Advocacy: Complete case handling, legal representation, and rights protection.

• Medical Assistance & Recovery: Direct medical support paired with long-term empowerment pathways.

The visit reaffirmed a shared commitment among UNFPA Pakistan, SRSP, and Mera Ghar – NET to reinforce institutional protection mechanisms, close service delivery gaps, and ensure that every survivor has access to justice, safety, and dignity. Together, the partner organizations remain dedicated to building robust, survivor-centered systems that enable women to heal, regain agency, and rebuild their lives.
