Livelihood Support for Bara Tirah Families

Under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Tehsil Bara, Khyber District, financial assistance and essential tools were provided to 11 individuals—including displaced women, men, and persons with disabilities from the Tirah Valley—to restore their businesses and livelihoods.

Speaking at an event organized in collaboration with the Gender Desk Office, Rukhshanda Naz, head of Noor Education Trust, highlighted that women, persons with special needs, and displaced families face severe social and economic challenges. Providing them with financial aid, guidance, and necessary tools enables them to restart their livelihoods and support their families independently on a self-help basis.
