At Mera Ghar – NET, our shelter home serves as much more than a temporary safe haven; it is a space for healing, recovery, and personal transformation. We specialize in empowering women survivors of distress and trauma by equipping them with practical, market-driven skills in stitching, tailoring, traditional handicrafts, and culinary arts. Engaging in these creative and hands-on trades allows residents to regain a sense of purpose and self-esteem, transforming acute hardship into productivity while providing them with a constructive focus as they heal.

The ultimate goal of our vocational training program is to pave a direct path toward financial independence, enabling every resident to rebuild her life on her own terms. By mastering textile craftsmanship and commercial cooking techniques—alongside basic business literacy—women leave our care prepared to launch small home-based ventures, secure dignified employment, and earn a sustainable income.
